Becoming a Violence Preventer

To stay safe, it is imperative that students and their parents become familiar with their campus and its surroundings. By knowing your environment you will be able to identify anomalies and suspicious activities quicker.

Remember that the most effective way to manage an emergency is to address it before a situation becomes a crisis. The best way to avoid violence is to prevent it in the first place.

Teaching students what to look for and how to report it is a simple and cost-free security improvement that any school can adopt.

If it is suspicious – report it immediately!
